Walking Aids range from basic canes and crutches to walkers. The level of complexity will depend on the patient’s abilities and the degree of support they need. Canes can have a single tip which touches the ground, or multiple tips that offer more stability. Crutches can be either forearm or underarm supported.
Walkers are generally height adjustable and are available with wheels if needed.
A Rollator Walker which has both a seat and a brake system is also available.
